HB Office Dogs Update

Here at HEILBrice, being a dog lover is not only a way of life, it’s a requirement! We have always prided ourselves on being a dog friendly office, and love the energy and entertainment the pups bring to the workplace. With new staff comes new dogs so without further adieu, let’s meet some of the furry friends new and old, who accompany their human counterparts into the HB office. 

 

SparkySparky

Human Counterpart: Tim

Breed: Maltipoo

Age: 6 months

Weight: 7 lbs

Nicknames: Sparky – Lou

Likes: Dropping kids off at school, visiting the HB office, sneaking into the neighbors yard.

Fun Facts: After his first grooming Tim’s 6 year old daughter, Joie Madison, cried for 20 minutes saying it wasn’t her dog and she wanted to go back and get Sparky.

 

 

Bennybenny

Human counterpart: Scott Burris

Breed: Mini Australian Shepherd

Age: 4 (28 dog years)

Weight: 24 lbs

Color: Tri-Colored (brown, gold, white)

Nickname: Benny Boo-Boo Child

Likes: Fetch, The Beach, Walks, Squirrels and Scott’s dirty socks

Fun Facts: Benny enjoys showing his belly to passer-bys, and recently learned how to climb up lifeguard towers all by himself

Breed: English Springer Spaniel

Nicknames: ZoZo, Zoesie, Sugarbum, PooWalker*

Likes: Food, people, swimming, snuggling.

Fun Facts: *She walks when she goes #2.

Breed: Australian Shepherd

Age: 10

Weight: 55 lbs

Nicknames: Coco-girl, Coco-latte, Mademoiselle

Likes: her human parents, discovering new smells on walks, being the most popular girl at doggy day care, fine cuisine, fashionable bandanas,

Fun Facts: Since she doesn’t have a tail, Coco wiggles her whole body with happiness. This happy dance has been known to melt even hearts of ice.

Breed: Champion Mutt

Age: 5 months

Weight: 37 lbs

Nicknames: The Nug

Likes: Runs, walks, playing, eating sh*t she’s not supposed to eat, the car.

Fun Facts: Deathly afraid of smaller people and dogs.

Human Counterpart: Hal and August Brice

Breed: German Shepherd

Age: 8 years old

Weight: 110 lbs

Nicknames: Kingston Badingston, Kingstonian, The Muffin, The Bear

Likes: going on walks, food of all kinds (even veggies), having his chin scratched, chasing bunnies, life guarding the pool, organic free-range beef, barking at the FedEx delivery man, following Hal everywhere.

Fun Facts: Kingston takes his job as head of office security very seriously. He can balance treats on his nose like a professional, is phased by nothing, and has his own facebook page.

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

Age: 12

Weight: 17 lbs

Nicknames: Foxy, Foxy-Lady, Princess

Likes: Fetching her tennis ball, eating (anything), chasing ducks, getting her neck rubbed.

Fun Facts: Roxy regularly likes to escape to the local golf course to fetch the golfers balls and bring it back to them.

 

 

Cowboycowboy

Human Counterparts: Jeff and Ally Morris

Breed: Boston Terrier

Age: 7 (acts like a 2 year old).

Weight: 12.5 lbs. on a good day.

Nickname: Jelly Bean, Kook-A-Loo, Cowy, Black and Whitey.

Likes:  To be in charge, making noise with squeaky toys, snuggling, driving in the car, lying in laundry fresh from the dryer, getting blow-dried and sleeping under covers.

Fun Facts: Cowboy was purchased as a Father’s Day present when his kids couldn’t find the Burberry tie he wanted. He shakes when he’s excited or cold.

The only time he barks is at birds and when the doorbell rings. Other than that, he’s silent and uses his big cartoon eyes and paws to communicate.

Breed: English Cream Dachshund

Age: 11 on July 31st

Weight: 16 lbs

Nicknames: Opiedog, Furboy, Opie Wan Kanope, D’Opie

Likes: Chasing balls, squeaky toys, bully sticks, belly rubs.

Fun Facts: Dachshunds were bred to dig and flush out badgers burrowed in the ground. True to form, Opie loves to ‘bury’ his toys in piles of blankets and dig them out. Dachshund is German for “little pain in the a**”

 

 

Ranger  Ranger       

Human Counterpart: Michael Hain

Breed: Golden Retriever

Age: 8 (56 dog years)

Weight: He prefers not to say.

Nicknames: Ranger Danger, Mr. Pup E. Kins

Likes: Fetching tennis balls, chasing squirrels up trees, barking at the mailman and having his backside scratched.

Fun Facts: He is extremely ferocious when barking, considering most of the time he has a ball in his mouth that severely muffles his bark.

 

 

LucaLuca

Human Counterpart: Jazz Brice

Breed: German Shepherd

Age: 4 years old

Weight: 55 lbs

Nicknames: Luca-loo, Luca-locity, The Fox

Likes: women and babies, belly rubs, extracting the stuffing from toys, stealing food from Kingston, posing for photos like a pin-up girl, never being separated from her human (ever)

Fun Facts: Luca will roll over onto her belly and wave upon command, and both are pretty dang adorable. She doesn’t have a facebook, but you can find her on instagram under the hashtag #lucathegermanshepherd

 

 

Beau & Nellie Beau and Nellie

Human Counterpart: Taylor Moore

Breed: Beau: Lab // Nellie: Beagle

Age: Beau: 5 yrs // Nellie: 10 yrs

Weight: Overweight

Nicknames: Beau: Bozo // Nellie: Admiral Nelson

Likes: Beau: Food, the ocean, food! // Nellie: Food and naps.

Fun Facts: Beau is a Certified Therapy Dog (visits people in the hospitals to cheer them up). // Nellie was found on the side of the road in Nelson County, Virginia (hence her name).

Age: Mommy(left): 3 yrs // Kitty(right): 2.5 yrs

Weight: They don’t want you to know….

Nicknames: Mommy and Kitty.

Likes: For me to be at their beck and call. Every time.

Fun Facts: I met Mommy at a local pet store where they do cat rescues.  Mommy was 6 months then and already had kitties that had already been adopted except for one.  I thought mom and kitty should live and grow together which they have been and hopefully for many more spoiled years to come.
