LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Southern California-based agency, HEILBrice Marketing Communications, has signed the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (LA Tourism), the organization responsible for marketing and selling Los Angeles to travelers and meeting planners globally, it was announced today by Hal Brice, HEILBrice’s Co-Founder & CEO. The agency will develop an integrated consumer marketing campaign for key domestic markets that will also be used as a global platform for marketing efforts in top international visitor markets.
Tourism is a leading industry in Los Angeles. Last year, Los Angeles welcomed a record 41.4 million visitors from around the globe, making it one of the most visited destinations in the United States, with the second highest share of overseas visitors to the U.S. Visitation to Los Angeles is expected to set another record in 2013, with projected visitation exceeding 42 million. Tourism supports 324,000 jobs in Los Angeles and contributes more than $30.5 billion in economic impact to the LA County area.
