When The Food Emporium, a chain of high-end gourmet markets in Manhattan, asked us to create awareness for their online market, our media department went to work. Since the target audience was primarily busy, working professionals, the recommendation was to design an out-of-home campaign using phone kiosks located on well-traveled avenues and near subway stops. The kiosks allowed us to create colorful, eye-catching posters that featured both beauty shots of food and clever, quirky visuals of young professionals caught in the act of ordering online from The Food Emporium.
The cheeky headlines were intended to be attention getting and convey the convenience of ordering online. In just a few short weeks, the campaign had orders streaming into The Food Emporium. And the creative was being talked about all over town.
